Providing an Experience to Our Customers During Unprecedented Times

At Herff Jones Miami, the health and safety of our students, community and employees is always our number one priority. With the uncertainty of school re-opening and the inability to gather groups for some time, ring ceremonies were rescheduled to a later date.

In the meantime, The Class of 2021 deserved to receive their rings! Many of our employees were furloughed, but even with limited staff, we designed a special delivery event just for the Class of 2021. Between Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 20th, we hosted the first-ever “CLASS OF 2021 RING CAR PARADE!”.

Students were asked to make appointments online. Appointment times were spaced out five minutes apart. When students and their families arrived at their scheduled time they would roll up to a tent to check-in. Then roll to the next tent for the red-carpet treatment. Cars would arrive to music and welcoming huge wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men. They would pull up to the red carpet with matching velvet ropes. As the remaining Herff Jones Miami employees would surround the car, banging on pots and pans and waving pom-poms, cheering for each student. Each student was announced by name and school over the loudspeaker. Student’s received their custom Class Ring in a silver platter. Pictures of each student were taken from their car window wearing their rings.

Over 2000 students from 46 different schools participated in this once in a lifetime event. Every student received a free Class of 2021 Ring Parade Event T-shirt. Cash prizes were also given to the Most Spirited Cars.
